I read a few blogs and came across one asking for a postcard to be sent to his daughter’s class in America who are collecting postcards from around the world. I happened to have an Australia postcard on my desk …
If you’d like to help Grace and her class out too grab a post card and follow this link … http://www.nonbillablehour.com/2012/10/please-send-my-daughter-postcard.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ThenonbillableHour+%28the+%5Bnon%5Dbillable+hour%29
So, why does that make me grateful. Grateful for the internet and how it lets us connect with perfect strangers half way across the world and hopefully bring a smile to a young girl’s face 🙂
Grateful for a perfect avocado to go with dinner tonight.
Grateful for my camera battery charger … Days of Gratitude would be impossible without it.
Grateful for roller blinds that made the bedroom nice and dark while I was sleeping off a migraine.
Grateful that we had the old fashioned hard copy street directory in the car for when the GPS thought it was still in Iceland!
Grateful that Mum and Dad still live ‘in the country’ as evidenced by this … us driving behind a car towing three cows in a trailer (two of them are little and lying down).
Grateful for my handy husband.
Grateful for little oddities that make you wonder.
Grateful for my sturdy shoes – 15 years and counting. Many others have come and gone but these have stuck around.
Grateful for finally having a bit of clear desk.
